This is a Temporary Summer Position.

Under direct supervision, the custodian/maintenance person performs routine cleaning and other related tasks in elementary, middle and high schools, or other district-owned facilities.  The individual performs heavy lifting and moving of furniture as well as building maintenance. The custodian/maintenance person works under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform both prep and painting of large buildings
• Familiar with using large ladders safely
• Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance methods
• Knowledge and ability to use and care for cleaning and maintenance materials and equipment
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate in a positive manner
• Must be in good physical condition
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Previous experience preferred
• Fingerprinting and Criminal History Check at employee’s expense is Required once hired

Salary Range:                            $12.38 - $12.63 per Hour
