The Culver School District believes that hiring dedicated, quality people is one of the most important keys to the district’s success. Great consideration goes into recruiting and hiring the best candidates. Two characteristics that are highly valued are: people who care about their students and who are excited to provide a quality education. Culver’s licensed staff of 42 teachers and administrators, together with our classified staff of 40 are committed to providing a curriculum that will help in preparing each student for the future. Together as a staff and community we are committed to delivering instruction that is developmentally appropriate for our 660 students. The community of Culver lies in Jefferson County surrounded by rich farmland. The small town has a population of 1315 within the city limits with the district extending throughout the surrounding farming and recreational area. The unified thirty-two acre campus and adjacent properties contains the Elementary, Middle and High schools, two gyms plus a support services building, a transportation department, full cafeteria and the district office. Additional facilities include a football, baseball, softball and soccer athletic complex. Aside from Culver’s rich farming heritage, the area boasts beautiful scenic views of the three Sisters, Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood. Central Oregon and the Culver Community offer a high quality of life as well as numerous outdoor recreational opportunities, including hunting, skiing, hiking, fishing and rock climbing.
